Cloud Storage

Storage That Scales With Your Workload

RamNode Cloud Storage gives you flexible, high-performance storage options for any use case: NVMe block volumes for databases, S3-compatible object storage for static assets, and high-capacity Storage VPS plans for archives and backups.

    Choose the Right Storage Type

Different workloads need different storage. Pick the option that fits your performance, capacity, and access requirements.

    Block Storage

    NVMe volumes

Persistent NVMe disks that attach to any cloud instance. Move them between instances, detach them, or scale capacity without resizing your server.

    • Attach to any instance in the same region
    • Detach and move between servers
    • Scale up to 4TB per volume
    • Billed hourly for every volume that exists

    Object Storage

    S3-compatible API

Store static assets, backups, logs, and unstructured data in buckets accessible through the S3 API. Works with your existing tools and SDKs.

    • S3-compatible API and SDKs
    • Ideal for media, backups, and logs
    • Regionally available in NLX, LAX, and EWR
    • Billed hourly for every bucket that exists

    Storage VPS

    High-capacity HDD

A VPS built around large spinning-disk storage. Great for data archives, media libraries, backup targets, and high-bandwidth applications.

    • Up to 4TB of HDD storage
    • 150TB of included bandwidth on top plans
    • Full root access and dedicated resources
    • Billed hourly for every instance that exists

    Backups & Snapshots

    Included with VPC

Point-in-time snapshots and scheduled backups protect your instances and volumes. Restore quickly or clone environments for testing.

    • Instance and volume snapshots
    • Scheduled backup policies
    • Cross-region copy support
    • Billed hourly for every backup that exists

    Why RamNode Cloud Storage?

Built on OpenStack, our storage services integrate directly with your VPC, instances, and API workflows.

    High Performance

Block Storage volumes use NVMe SSDs for low-latency, high-IOPS workloads like databases and transactional applications.

    Flexible Scaling

Add storage without changing compute. Resize volumes, attach more disks, or grow object storage buckets on demand.

    VPC Integration

Block storage, object storage, and backups live inside your VPC project and are managed through the same control panel and API.

    S3 API Compatibility

Object storage works with standard S3 clients, CLIs, and SDKs. Connect existing applications without rewriting integrations.

    Cost-Effective Archives

Storage VPS plans combine compute with large HDD capacity, making them ideal for backups, media, and long-term data retention.

    Data Protection

Snapshots and scheduled backups protect against accidental deletion, failed upgrades, and ransomware. Restore to a previous point in time.

    Common Use Cases

Match your workload to the right storage service.

    Databases and Transactional Workloads

Mount a high-IOPS NVMe block volume for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or any database that needs consistent disk performance.

    Media Libraries and Backup Targets

A Storage VPS gives you a large, inexpensive disk with a full server attached. Great for Plex, Jellyfin, Nextcloud, or rsync destinations.

    Disaster Recovery and Cloning

Use snapshots and scheduled backups to protect production instances. Clone snapshots into new regions or test environments in minutes.

Billing is based on existence, not power state

Cloud Storage resources are billed for every hour they exist, whether attached, powered on, or idle. To stop billing, delete the resource. Hourly charges are capped at the monthly rate.
